【Personality Test】How long will you actually last in the workplace? How good are your workplace skills? A simple little test will reveal the answer!

One day, on your way to work, you notice a crowd gathered in the distance; it looks as though something has happened, but as you are too far away, you cannot make out what it is. At this moment, you have a sense of foreboding—what does your intuition tell you is going on?

A. Passers-by are fighting

B. An unauthorised gathering

C. A road traffic accident

D. A commercial event

E. A thief has been caught

F. A murder has taken place

A. You frequently encounter various problems and underhand individuals in the workplace, which directly affect your mood and work efficiency. When these issues become too serious, you tend to resort to extreme measures to resolve them, such as getting into direct arguments with others or simply resigning. Such extreme approaches are clearly not the wisest course of action; you should consider the root causes of these problems before devising a solution.

B. You are sociable and adept at winning people over, which has earned you a strong network of contacts. When faced with difficulties at work, you are able to secure assistance from others; however, you may sometimes rely too heavily on these relationships. If your own abilities and competitiveness are lacking, you could easily become a pawn in others’ schemes. You should therefore strive to enhance your own capabilities and competitiveness.

C. You are the type who follows the rules; when faced with problems, you handle them according to your own logic and do not make good use of the interpersonal relationships around you. If you can manage your workplace relationships effectively, it will make things much easier for you, as many workplace issues require assistance from various quarters.

D. You are an optimistic and cheerful person, a true optimist. At times, you may harbour a sense of complacency and view issues too superficially. When faced with problems, you tend to adopt an evasive ‘get by’ approach. If you wish to resolve workplace issues more effectively, you need to learn to face the root causes head-on.

E. You are shrewd and good at observing others, but sometimes your cleverness works against you; you cannot bear to be at a disadvantage. When faced with problems, you are likely to shift the burden onto others. Over time, people may perceive you as overly calculating and be reluctant to support you. Therefore, it is sometimes wise to play dumb.

F. You are the ‘nice guy’ in the workplace; whenever a problem arises, you try to find a solution yourself rather than bothering others. However, one person’s capacity is limited, and when there is too much on your plate, you often cannot resolve matters on your own. At such times, remember to seek advice from your line manager or colleagues; there is no need to shoulder everything yourself.
