Sigmund Freud (German: Sigmund Freud; 6 May 1856 – 23 September 1939) was an Austrian psychologist, psychoanalyst and philosopher. As the founder of psychoanalysis and one of the most influential thinkers of the twentieth century, he is revered by posterity as the ‘Father of Psychoanalysis’. Today, we shall discuss his life and his theories.
